Early Careers: Security Systems Analyst

We are looking to hire a Security Systems Analyst to join our Global Physical Security team, as part of our People Safety and Security Services function.

Summary

This graduate-level Security Systems Analyst role sits at the intersection of technology, security and operations. You will support the administration, development and maintenance of Aon's enterprise physical security systems across the NA and Latam Regions, working with a wide range of stakeholders and gaining valuable project and systems experience.

As part of the team, you will help empower results for our internal and external clients by delivering core services as part of our People Safety and Security Services (PSSS) function within Aon Service Corporation. The team is looking for a motivated earlycareer professional, ideally someone who has recently completed their college or university studies and is eager to build expertise in the field of security systems. The successful candidate will bring a strong academic foundation, a willingness to learn, and the potential to grow into a subject matter expert and future leader in a similar role.

Key responsibilities:

Physical security systems & projects

* Provide administration and support for Aon's enterprise physical security systems and architecture.

* Help ensure the uninterrupted operation of Aon's physical security systems, including access control and video management.

* Ensure Aon's standards for access, monitoring and space design are followed in all relevant projects.

Project support & coordination

* Assist the Regional Security Systems Manager on all security systems projects.

* Review vendor bids and proposals and provide feedback.

* Mark up system and space designs and help develop tender specifications.

Systems management & maintenance

* Manage enterprise-level access control and video management platforms.

* Perform system programming on new and existing installations, including hardware and software upgrades.

* Coordinate maintenance and repair of physical security systems, working with internal teams and external vendors.

Stakeholder engagement & vendor management

* Maintain strong support from stakeholders and leadership for security projects and programs across the region.

* Collaborate with and support Aon's approved security systems vendors at a regional and national level.

* Work closely with Corporate Real Estate and IT teams to align security systems with building and technology requirements.

* Provide support and assistance to the Regional Command Centres.

* Support the delivery of end user training on security systems and processes.

Data, reporting & continuous improvement

* Produce metrics and data analysis related to system faults/failures and project status

* Identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement in Aon's physical security systems and processes.

Skills & experience:

* Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Security, IT, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar).

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Technologically aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure with limited supervision.

* Disciplined, self-motivated, and able to work effectively from home when required.

* Experience with enterprise-level access control or video management platforms a plus (e.g. Lenel, Avigilon)

* Exposure to corporate security, facilities, or IT environments (e.g. internships, placements, or project work).

Working pattern & travel

* Some travel to national (and occasionally regional) locations may be required to support projects, audits, or installations.

* Hybrid working model with flexibility to work from home in line with business needs.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $61,000 - $78,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
