Job Description

PURPOSE: To ensure that all regrind is processed by types of materials in a timely manner

Authority: Is hereby given to the employee by the thermoform production manager to carry out the responsibilities and any other duties as directed.

Amcor believes in the safety of all employees, It is important that each employee follows all safety rules. Pre-shift exercise/stretching activity to be performed before you can enter production area unless written doctor's release can be provided to Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Know how to locate a trailer that has the correct scrap on it within the JDE system.
  • Know how to contact a driver so they can locate that trailer.
  • Make sure you have all necessary supplies at the start of your shift.
  • Fill out "Motorized Inspection Form" for the forklift that you will be using during your shift.
  • Inspect the regrind room and see that the grinders are being used in the most efficient manner.
  • Keep the flow of product going into the grinder.
  • Load trailers of regrind flake as they become available.
  • When loading or unloading regrind onto a trailer you need to fill out a Shuttle Trailer Inspection Verification Sheet. (FCD-00141)
  • Know how to make labels for regrind.
  • All regrind that is stored in a tote needs to be labeled, covered, scanned into DSI-Mobile Client and stored in the designated location.
  • Load recycle trailer with scrap and recycle totes and replace the recycle totes as needed.
  • Know how to do an inventory count of regrind in the staging locations.
  • Follow all HACCP, SQF and GMP standards at all times.
  • Know and understand important ISO information (WI-00377) and Important SQF Information (WI-00460).
  • Know what your cleaning tasks are, how to safely complete the task, and where the cleaning task books are kept to sign off on them.
  • Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Any other task that is asked of them.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent .Or previous experience.
  • Organization skills.
  • Be a team player
  • Good reading comprehension and basic math skills.
  • Able to work with limited supervision
  • Fork Truck Certification up to date.
  • Knowledge of JDE
  • Able to tell difference in materials

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to handle and pull full totes with fork truck or pallet jack.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds to waist level.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop during entire shift.

Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am (every other 3-day weekend off) Starting Pay: $20.00/hr
