Overview

TRC Companies (TRC) is a national engineering and energy efficiency consulting firm that provides integrated services to the energy, environmental, and infrastructure markets across the United States. TRC serves a broad range of clients in the public and private sectors, implementing energy efficiency programs and complex projects from initial concept to delivery and operation.

TRC is seeking a Project Associate to lead the management of income qualified residential single and multifamily energy solutions programs in Kentucky. This position is responsible for receiving program enrollment applications and ushering them through internal review and processes via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tracking systems. These efforts will be executed while communicating by phone or email with utility customers to seek additional information about an application or provide assistance with program inquiries. As a part of the Operations team, there may be occasional weekend customer support on a rotating basis. The Project Associate also enters data into various tracking databases, paying close attention to detail and looking for inconsistencies and adverse trends that could negatively impact the clients' programs. The Project Associate will be responsible for communicating updates to relevant stakeholders at each phase, removing barriers as needed, and managing each project from initiation to completion. The Project Associate will also follow up on customer leads to generate new program enrollments.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to make independent judgement, be a detail-oriented leader with a positive attitude and who is excellent at multi-tasking while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Responsibilities

  • Actively support multiple projects throughout their lifecycle by assessing and resolving project issues to confirm timely progress, milestone tracking, and successful completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project submittals, coordinate logistics, and verify compliance with project procedures and contract requirements.
  • Corroborate prompt and accurate processing of project documents by utilizing tools to review, provide insight, track data, generate reports, and monitor performance.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, project participants, market partners, and contractors to establish smooth project participation and compliance.
  • Create and standardize program operational processes such as program manuals, workflows, dashboards, reports.
  • Facilitate lessons learned and process improvement meetings amongst the stakeholders to promote best practices and work through challenges as a team.
  • Understand monthly and annually contractual energy goals and report on the program's performance metrics.
  • Independently manage workload and prioritize critical tasks.
  • Work with program staff to actively manage multiple projects through the entire lifecycle in various stages.
  • Resolve any barriers that arises for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project cycle.
  • Be accountable for the projects that are assigned and notify management if there are any delays or discrepancies to the process.
  • Mastery of CRM system and provide input for enhancements or troubleshooting.
  • Support customers and stakeholders in understanding, enrolling, and submitting required project paperwork and including relevant supporting documentation.
  • Review incoming project enrollments on a regular basis to determine eligibility and request missing information as needed.
  • Scheduling and rescheduling of customer appointments in coordination with subcontractor field delivery team.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, utilizing excellent communication skills and positive attitude to work with detailed requests from customers, client staff, and internal team members.
  • Daily utilization of a CRM tracking system, Microsoft Office and call center software.
  • Support other functional teams such as marketing, outreach, field operations, data and reporting.
  • Provide general program information to customers with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ensure enrollments and completions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to meet frequent deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Residency in Louisville, KY.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or relevant field, and 1 + years of experience, OR A combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered in place of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (i.e. outlook, word, excel, teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience using a CRM or similar system to effectively track customer and/or project details preferred.

  • Experience working with a CRM system to manage data and create reports.

  • Excellent time management skills including the ability to monitor and manage project progress.
  • Ability to coordinate, schedule and conduct team meetings professionally.
  • Ability to read and monitor performance metrics to support program goals.
  • Experience promoting process optimization and automation.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
