Therapist/Social Worker

Diamond Grove Center is searching for an experienced Therapist/Social Worker to join our team. This position will be fulltime, with hours of 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday thru Friday weekends off, and occassionally working one weekend out of the month.

Diamond Grove Center is a 85 bed, behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. As the Therapist and/or Social Worker provide essential components of the overall treatment program through various interventions and modalities. Functions as a member of the treatment team and accepts responsibilities for specifically assigned duties, psycho-social's, master treatment plans, treatment plan updates, group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy as needed, discharge planning, documentation, discharge safety plan, and assist with treatment program. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in mental health promotion and maintenance of high-quality comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Qualifications

Master's degrees in a Clinical Psychology or Behavioral Health field from an accredited school.

- Two (2) years' experience (internship may be included) in a psychiatric or clinical setting.

- Two (2) years' experience working with child/adolescent population.

Must be eligible to qualify for CPI and CPR certification

Demonstrates leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
