Responsibilities Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines, and cleaner power generation. Our passionate commitment to EHS provides internship candidates with an excellent environment in which to learn how to apply EHS skills to support the delivery of results and gain practical, real-world EHS experience. Our EHS Internship Program is designed to provide challenging EHS assignments to university students who are pursuing a degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection or Environmental Science. Candidates will complete their internship at a designated US location and will work with an experienced mentor during their assignment. During this time, candidates will learn our EHS Management Systems and culture and be exposed to driving EHS success in a Howmet location. Our internship program has helped develop successful EHS professionals and upon graduation, may lead to placement as an EHS Professional in Howmet's full time EHS Development Program.
