Responsibilities
The Production Control Manager (PCM) oversees the planning, scheduling and coordination of the manufacturing plan including the movement of the inventory input to support the supply plan. The PCM will use plans provided by the Planning group and provide prioritization to the operational teams to optimize manufacturing schedules, coordinate material flow, manage inventory and ensure the achievement of business targets. This position will facilitate timely and accurate communication regarding inventory movement, priorities and drive actions designed to optimize inventory levels while maximizing targets like On Time Delivery and the achievement of monthly revenue and margin targets. Communications include the status of order fulfillment, work in process status, delays in production schedules, agreement on demand, schedules and forecasts, and seeks positive recovery actions when necessary. This role is pivotal in balancing production efficiency with customer demands while maintaining strict aerospace quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling: Develop and oversee production schedules, aligning demand forecasts and operational capacity to meet customer requirements and internal goals. Monitors production performance and adjusts high level schedule priorities as needed to meet delivery dates. Inventory & Material Planning: Ensure proper material availability, coordinating with operations, engineering and sales to optimize inventory and WIP levels. Capacity Management: Collaborate with operation teams to optimize workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and maximize throughput. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance scheduling efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize waste. Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams-including manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics-to maintain seamless operations. Analyzes customer forecasts, delivery needs, demand, capacity, forecasts, and other data to drive improvement in the team's commitment and delivery accuracy. Plans appropriately with operations to eliminate any overdue situations (scheduling, staffing, production time, production plans, and overtime). Aligns with the plants Inventory position and status; supports audits of inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy throughout the year. Validates all planned daily shipments and actual shipments to achieve and support operations. Actively manages assigned portfolio of production inventory which requires daily walks of the production floor, interacting with operations and other functions, and other actions to ensure the continued progression of customer part numbers.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution and a minimum of 10 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment OR
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of Aerospace or metal casting experience. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing setting. Experience in lean manufacturing principles and process optimization. Advanced Excel, Power Query, or database management skills for efficient production analysis.
