Low Voltage Project Manager (Structured Cabling) Location: Barker, NY (Onsite) Company: Leading National Technology Infrastructure Contractor Employment Type: FullTime, Permanent Start Date: March 22, 2026 About the Role A leading national technology infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to support one of the largest missioncritical structured cabling projects in New York. This position plays a pivotal role in a highvisibility initiative tied to major advancements in U.S. technology and manufacturing. What You'll Do Project Leadership & Team Management * Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate project staff. * Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support career development. * Manage workload distribution, scheduling, and field productivity. * Ensure adherence to company culture, safety standards, and quality expectations. Project Execution & Delivery * Oversee all phases of structured cabling and lowvoltage installation. * Coordinate scheduling, materials planning, and subcontractor work. * Manage customer communication and ensure project deliverables are met. * Participate in bid processes and support preconstruction efforts. Financial & Administrative Management * Maintain budget control and project profitability. * Validate job cost postings, prepare invoices, and support collections. * Deliver accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders and clients. Quality, Safety & Process Improvement * Maintain a safe, compliant, and highquality work environment. * Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and bestpractice improvements. HandsOn Field Support * Assist in the field as needed to ensure project success. * Use lowvoltage trade tools including: * 110/66 punch tools * Crimp tools * Butt sets * Voltohm meters * Continuity testers * Krone/BIX tools Qualifications Required * High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred). * 5+ years experience with security systems, access control, or CCTV. * 5+ years supervisory or management experience. * 5+ years in telecommunications, structured cabling, or construction. * Experience managing customer relationships and highvolume workloads. * Ability to read blueprints, specs, and technical construction documents. * Proficiency with: * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft Project * Microsoft Teams & Outlook * Strong organizational, communication, and criticalthinking skills. * Must meet company driving standards. * Must qualify for a companysponsored credit card. Preferred Technical Background Experience with any of the following manufacturers is a plus: * Bosch G Series, Ready Key Pro, Bosch Video * UTC/GE Intrusion, Access Control, CCTV * DSX * Software House * EST 2 / EST 3 * VideoIQ * Fluid Mesh Top Skills for Success * Experience delivering complex structured cabling projects within manufacturing, semiconductor, heavy industrial, or large commercial environments. * Strong software proficiency (Excel, MS Project, Teams, Outlook). * Ability to work long hours and weekends when required. * Handson leadership style and willingness to support field teams directly. Compensation * Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 (DOE) * Employment Type: FullTime / Permanent * Drug Test: Required Work Environment This position is 100% onsite Monday-Friday, with weekend work as needed based on project demands.
