What you will do in this role:

  • Adhere to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

Be a Strategic Leader:

  • Serve as a key leader of the Purchasing Team and contribute to the development of the annual goals and objectives for Supply Chain from which your Key Performance Goals/Targets are derived
  • Understand and adhere to Integer's Values and all company policies, procedures, and work instructions defined in your training plan.
  • Ensure compliance with the established Quality Management System and all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security protocols.
  • Partner and lead the execution of local and corporate supply chain-related imperatives reflected in the site Hoshin Plan.
  • Develop and execute sustained Continuous Improvement processes
  • Lead the purchasing team; promote talent by developing individual growth and development plans and organizational succession plans
  • Engage with Associates at all levels and across all functions
  • Ensure one/one time with your direct reports regularly to monitor performance and check in on the progress of Individual Development Plans
  • Interact, as appropriate, directly with your internal customers and suppliers; support the preparations of supplier business reviews and participate in site visits and audits by customers or other parties, as needed
  • Partner with your peers on the Operations, local Supply Chain Team, and corporate Supply Chain Team, aligning on strategies, tactics, and actions required, to achieve Operation's objectives
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Product Development teams to appropriately prioritize Purchasing resources and support for new product launches
  • Perform other duties as needed and as directed

  • Quality - Key quality metrics

  • Inventory - Days on hand; inventory turns, Plan For Every Part, ERP adoption
  • Productivity - Achievement of committed results, completion of assigned projects
  • Cost Improvement - Cumulative incremental savings realized as a result of your accomplishments and collaboration, particularly in support of continuous improvements
  • Cost Controls - Adherence to budget across supply chain cost centers

What sets you apart:

Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline preferred or a combination of education and 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing environments.

Minimum Experience: 5-8 years experience with progressive responsibilities and leadership roles in a purchasing environment, including supervision of people. Medical Industry strongly desired.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Accomplished track record in manufacturing environments where you owned the responsibilities for delivering results related to purchasing - particularly those KPIs noted above
  • Experience implementing and/or sustaining Manufacturing Excellence and Lean practices
  • Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as medical, automotive, or aerospace, is desired.
  • Hands-on experience in setting/managing planning attributes in ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
  • Experience with preparing raw material purchasing budgets, purchase price variance budgets/forecast, defining standard costs, supplier-driven changes, supplier evaluations, supplier risk management, supplier negotiations, and escalations.
  • Experience with production transfers, new product introductions, and raw material sourcing.
  • Demonstrated experiences with strategic and direct management of people in a fast-paced and complex manufacturing environments where products are made-to-stock and make-to-order
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A calm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing business environment
  • A well-developed skill set for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and on budget
  • A positive, can-do attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option

Salary Range: $108,900 - $159,720

Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer's success. Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
