Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (000439)

• Required Education: Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist, including Military Training.
• Preferred Education: N/A

• Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.

• BLS.

• Required Skills & Experience: One (1) year of General Radiographer experience.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients and equipment to capture the correct images.
• Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate images and determine if additional images are necessary.
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients during imaging procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards.

• 4:00 PM-12:00 AM, weekends/holidays required.
• Interviews: Prefer in-person, open to virtual if needed.
