What You'll Do:

As the P-8A Electronic Warfare Operator (EWO), you will join a high-performing team supporting NAVAIR's Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft Program (MPRA), PMA-290. In this role, you will directly support Increment 3 (Inc3) leadership by providing operational expertise to guide the integration, evaluation, and testing of advanced P-8A combat systems.

Your insight will help ensure Inc3 capabilities are mission-ready and optimized for fleet employment across Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW), Carrier Strike Group (CSG) support, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on P-8A Inc3 combat systems and associated software.
  • Advise program leadership on system integration, operational suitability, and performance evaluation.
  • Summarize combat system analyses and investigation results through clear written products and executive-level briefings.
  • Support development of performance test procedures in coordination with system developers and engineering teams.
  • Operate P-8A Inc3 systems within integration labs to support system integration and test objectives.
  • Conduct functional and system-level testing of combat systems to validate performance and capability.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve operational effectiveness across mission sets.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet evolving program objectives.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Former or current P-8A Electronic Warfare Operator with significant operational fleet experience.
  • Deep understanding of maritime patrol mission sets and combat system employment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical and operational issues.
  • Able to assess alternative solutions and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with engineering or analysis software tools (desired).
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes (desired).
  • Willing and able to travel moderately in support of program needs.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary Range:

  • The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000, commensurate with an individual's experience, qualifications, and skill set. ASEC is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation.
