Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Academic rank will be determined during the interview process after discussion between you and the department about your previous experience and academic desires. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Instructor of Clinical Practice: * Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Sr. Instructor of Clinical Practice: * Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice: * Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Associate Professor of Clinical Practice: * Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Professor of Clinical Practice: * Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Condition of Employment: * Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado * Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check *For questions regarding Children's Hospital drug testing requirements, please contact Children's Human Resources at 720-777-8598. Preferred Qualifications: * Five or more years of clinical experience in Pediatric Critical Care. * Experience with developing and/or leading clinical programs * Willing to relocate to Colorado Springs.
