We are seeking a day-to-day project leader and client partner who has broad experience working in the pharmaceutical and biotech space. In lockstep with senior leaders and supporting team members, you will oversee a range of projects, while also serving as a client point-person, coaching junior staffers, contributing to strategic planning, managing financials, and ensuring high quality of client deliverables.
Working on at least one account covering oncology and hematology, you have the unique opportunity to build relationships with new clients, including a mix of U.S. and global data/pipeline communications, medical congress support, social/digital media, traditional media strategy and execution, patient storytelling, disease awareness and scientific storytelling, and executive thought leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support team leads in development and execution of corporate/above brand and pipeline milestone communication plans
  • Own projects and support team on tactical execution, ensuring timely delivery of flawless materials, including content strategy, writing and editing
  • Project manage various conferences/events throughout the year
  • Oversee more junior team members on execution of projects and manage/delegate and execute admin processes
  • Robust, cross-functional project management and collaboration with shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if "preferred" or "required")
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or related field (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries (required)
  • Experience and interest in healthcare communications (required); experience with science/data/regulatory (preferred), patient and scientific storytelling (preferred), advocacy relations (preferred), traditional media (preferred), and HCP and/or influencer engagement (preferred)
  • Experience in event/conference planning/management (preferred)
  • Proven experience in client relations, plan development and budget management (required)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and third-parties (required)
  • Self-starter/self-motivator
  • The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100K to $120K. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
