Landfill Laborer

PAY:
* $17 - $18 per hour working around 50 hours a week. Every hour after 40 is paid overtime.
* Monthlysafetybonus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Checking trucks in and out of the landfill anddirecting trafficat site as necessary.
*Manual labor including paper picking, keeping landfill clean and presentable.
*Performyard workincluding cutting weeds.
*Installtemporary windfencesas required.
*Perform general office maintenance and repairs includingpaintingand janitorial work.
*Operating support equipment
*Working outside in all weather conditions.
*Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
*Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises
*Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
*Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basicsafetyprecautions.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company'ssafetystandards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
*Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise
*One year of stable employment history in a similar environment.
