Description

LaForce is seeking an Engineering Project Assistant to support our Project Engineers and Project Managers with daily project coordination and administrative tasks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

What You'll Do
In this role you will support the Engineering Department by coordinating project tasks, communicating with team members, and managing change orders. Develop a strong understanding of LaForce software systems, internal processes, and vendor catalogs to efficiently support project quoting and execution. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications, identify discrepancies, and anticipate potential issues before they arise. Serve as a point of contact for vendors and customers, handling requests, troubleshooting, and material coordination in a timely and professional manner.

What You'll Bring



  • Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or university or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must in this role.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
