LPN I - Outpatient - Access Center - M-F, 7:30a-4p PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medication Refill is responsible for the review, processing, and coordination of prescription refill requests in accordance with established clinical protocols, state regulations, and organizational policies. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Reviews and processes incoming prescription refill requests from patient phone calls, patient portal messages, pharmacies, and electronic refill queues. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required. 2 years' experience as an LPN required KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: * Knowledge of pharmacology principles, medication safety standards, and refill best practices. QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE EXPECTATIONS: SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Current LPN State licensure and CPR certification. Hourly Pay Range: $21.03 - $31.54 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
