As an Access Control Officer at a busy transportation location, you will greet visitors, manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor activity to help support a welcoming environment. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols, document incidents, and communicate clearly with the public and site partners. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation parking location.
• Control access at entrances and exits by checking identification, validating credentials, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing vehicles and pedestrians to approved areas.
• Monitor access control systems such as gates, door controls, intercoms, and cameras, and report malfunctions and/or suspicious activity per site procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, documenting events, and communicating updates to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around parking areas, entries, and perimeter spaces, and complete required activity logs and incident reports. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
