Shift: 7 am-5:30 pm, Mon-Fri + 7 am-12 pm Sat

These are the qualifications that matter.

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
• Required certifications (OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to stay calm and take decisive action in emergencies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in occupational safety, engineering, or related field (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Continuously monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure safe practices are followed
• Investigate, and report on incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices
• Deliver safety training and daily toolbox talks to on-site personnel
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EHS, and other relevant safety standards
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation for inspections
• Coordinate emergency drills and first aid procedures
• Advise management on safety-related improvements and corrective actions
• Serve as the point of contact for any on-site safety concerns
