As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist customers and store teams with clear, respectful communication. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and respond to concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, corridors, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring for unusual behavior, and communicating concerns to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, lost children reports, and suspicious activity, and request law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate security-related information during shift changes to support consistent site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
