Sr BSA SAP Finance - Temp

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst SAP Finance Temp at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in determining the company's long term goals. You will advise Finance business users on SAP Finance roadmap and operational efficiency tasks, translate their requirements into specification, assess impact to adjacent SAP modules and supporting systems and oversee the quality solution delivery. BSA will be supported by onsite and offshore teams to implement solutions, per IT processes.

* Costing process business advising and technical support

* SAP Role definition and access for business users

* SOX control support to Finance team

* Analytics for Office, Power BI report such as Custom Inventory Report

* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Experience in integration modules (MM/SD/PP) is required

* 10+ years SAP FICO experience in a Solutions Architect role or similar role is preferred

* Accounting background preferred

* Knowledge of SAP Finance modules such as:

o GL accounts, postings, clearing, ledgers, foreign currency exchange rates, month end currency revaluation, document splitting, workflows

* Experience in Controlling - cost centers, internal orders, CO PA

* Knowledge of Integrations with SD, MM, PP

* High level understanding of indirect taxes and accounting concepts - balance sheets, P&L, postings for common business processes

* Knowledge of Product Costing and integration with PP module

* Ability to communicate to business users at multiple levels - AP analyst to Finance VPs

* Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required

* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools

General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 5 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
