As a Security Officer - Access Control in Laredo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will manage access control, greet associates, drivers, and visitors, and verify credentials and deliveries at entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, document incidents, and communicate clearly to help support smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, and issuing badges and/or visitor passes.
• Control entry and exit at gates, guard shacks, and/or lobby points by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, coordinating with onsite contacts, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access disputes, and emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including warehouse areas, dock doors, parking lots, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document visitor and vehicle activity, and communicate status updates to supervisors and onsite management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
