Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Campus Driver in Suwanee, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will drive and walk routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions with strong customer service and communication. You will document activity, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access procedures and other security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or hazard concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notification to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor for loitering, trespassing, and parking violations, and document observations and actions taken according to post instructions.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, including incident reports, patrol activity, and follow-up information, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
