Job Description




As a Security Officer - Part Time - Overnights in Green Bay, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, supporting mobile patrols and rapid response when needed. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks and perimeter routes, as directed by post orders.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors, deliveries and contractors to designated check-in areas.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents and unusual conditions; document observations from patrols, alarms and/or access control checks and communicate updates during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
