What You'll Do

As a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Advanced Imaging & Patient Care

• Perform PET/CT diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following KSC Nuclear Medicine and Radiology protocols
• Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and clear communication
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals, contrast media, and IV injections with precision and care
• Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging when needed (e.g., Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, SPECT)

Technical Expertise & Quality Assurance

• Apply imaging principles to consistently produce optimal-quality studies
• Complete daily quality control for PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards

Clinical & Operational Excellence

• Utilize EMR, RIS, and PACS for accurate documentation and image archiving
• Support equipment upkeep, supply management, and overall clinic safety
• Participate in continuing education, team trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as a resource for new staff during orientation

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program
• Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program
• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine
• Minimum PET/CT clinical rotation within an approved NM program
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) MRT-General Certificate BLS through American Heart Association
• Demonstrated ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition Venipuncture
• Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, radiologic science or related course of study
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
• 3+ years in PET/CT
• Bi-lingual or multi-lingual

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
