You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will also support employees and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Control access at entrances and designated checkpoints by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries to approved receiving locations.
  • Complete shift reports and incident logs, monitor alarms and/or cameras when assigned, and communicate updates to supervisors and on-site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
