Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver in Oakdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, and respond to calls for assistance while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will operate a company vehicle in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements as you help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting concerns, and coordinating with hospital personnel and/or first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, escalating issues through the appropriate chain of command.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation in a timely manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
