As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report concerns clearly, and deliver standout customer service to drivers, associates, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access for employees, drivers, and visitors by checking identification, issuing badges and/or passes as directed, and maintaining entry and exit logs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor trailer and truck traffic within the yard and dock areas, observe for hazards and/or unusual conditions, and communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations in written reports, and notify appropriate personnel when escalation is needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
