Part Time/Days (24 hours per week)

The Clinical Specialist plays a key role in advancing highquality systems of care across our organization. In this role, you will educate providers on the effective use of diseasespecific guidelines and help ensure consistent, evidencebased practices. You will also contribute to the creation, review, and distribution of clinical and patient education materials, as well as support the development of standardized care protocols.

Summary:

The Clinical Specialist role is responsible for developing high quality systems of care by educating providers in the utilization of disease specific guidelines. This role assists in creating, reviewing and distributing clinical and patient education tools and developing standardized protocols.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a medical related field or appropriate clinical State licensure required
  • License/Certifications: RN, LPN, RRT, PA, NP - current State licensure appropriate to degree/training or the clinical specialty area required. Completion of relevant educator certification or equivalent course required.
  • Experience: Seven years working in related field of specialty required.
