Summary: This is a new leadership role reflecting ongoing growth in Deal Hub and the Global Enterprises space. You will manage a team of tenured, senior-level Deal Hub associates who serve as a single POC for Sales to provide timely, responsive, and strategic guidance, while understanding the account history to provide high-quality feedback for proposal business term requests.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of associates in the achievement of tasks and goals aligned to the execution of the Deal Hub strategy. This includes coaching, performance management, and providing ongoing feedback to enable their success and the strategic value of Gartner's Deal Hub.
  • Build and establish relationships with senior leaders that drive positive business outcomes with Sales and other Business Units
  • Enable direct reports to resolve complicated deals that may require escalation; coordinate the resolution of complex issues and be involved in all major renewals.
  • Act as escalation point for Sales leadership with complicated and/or urgent deals
  • Resolve and provide options within Bid Manager empowerments across multiple areas (product, pricing, contracts, finance)
  • Actively participates in the Deal Hub Leadership Development Program to grow future leadership talent * Establish processes to strengthen/develop cross sales business unit communication and collaboration that drives client consistency
  • Leverage data to identify and understand Client risks, relationships, industry trends, renewal trends and buying trends.
  • Client facing to discuss Gartner contracting practices and act as real time solutions-oriented partner
  • Drive for cross collaboration across various internal business units (Pricing, OM, Legal, GRP, Collections) to improve consistency and transparency across accounts.

Impact of Role:

  • Gartner product expert with a deep understanding of Sales and client requirements - drives for consistency and transparency across enterprises.
  • Manage and elevate a team that stands at the center of Team NCVI bringing together internal stakeholders and overseeing requests against standards and ensure compliance with Pricing, Product and Legal policies.
  • Escalation points for both internal Deal Hub team as well as Sales
  • Relationships: Internal/External Sales AEs, SM's and VP's, Deal Hub senior leadership teams, Legal, Product, GRP and other teams within Finance

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years' experience in a sales, contracts, or finance environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships based on value-add service and effectively interface in complex multi-site business organization.
  • Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent/equivalent work experience
  • Motivated high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
  • Consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication skills and proven ability to drive teamwork.
  • Time management and organizational skills; operates with a structured approach and methodology to deliver results.
  • Experience using Salesforce; especially ISR and integrated CPQ tools strongly preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 108,000 USD - 148,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
