Overview
The VNS Health Summer Internship program is a ten-week experience for college students to gain first-hand insights inside a multifaceted nonprofit healthcare organization. Students will be placed in one of our clinical or business departments to contribute to key projects and departmental goals while developing relationships within and across the organization. Join us in continuing our 130+ year legacy of delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare to the homes and communities of New Yorkers who need it most. Make a difference while learning about the complexities of the health system, gain practical problem solving skills for real business issues, and explore a career in The Future of Care. To foster growth and learning, students attend presentations and workshops with VNS Health leaders and networking sessions. To showcase the knowledge and experience gained during the summer program, students will work independently or in cross-functional teams to deliver a creative and strategic business solution to VNS leaders. The Summer Internship Program is hybrid, requiring students to spend time on site in NYC. It will begin on June 1st and conclude on August 7th. Students can expect to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Undergraduate student interns are paid a starting rate of $20 per hour. Graduate students are paid a starting rate of $25 per hour. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Current enrollment in college or graduate school with a minimum of one year of college completed required. Pay Range USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
