What to Expect
Tesla's LFP Electrode Production Team is seeking highly motivated individuals to tackle manufacturing of a challenging new process. You will be working alongside Engineers, Maintenance, Quality, and Training to develop an advanced new process and be among the first individuals to work in a new cell manufacturing factory within Tesla. This fast-paced team is the perfect environment if you are interested in developing multiple skills and having an immediate impact on the future of energy. You will spend a significant amount of time training, troubleshooting, and driving performance.

What You'll Do
  • Operate Tesla'scoating lines, requiringhighly skilled work inmonitoringand adjusting coatingdie heads
  • Monitor and adjusttheNMPrecovery processinthecoated cathode productionline, including parameter adjustments tomaintainthe process within defined specifications
  • Complete standard work process and follow work instructions, procedures, and rotate asrequired
  • Demonstrate flexibility as needed by the business
  • Escalate technical and process issues to theappropriate supportgroups and leaders
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures anddemonstratea high levelof professionalism
  • Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality to scheduled shifts

What You'll Bring
  • Manufacturing/industrialexperience,3-5 yearspreferred
  • Experience inlarge or small scalemanufacturing in a production process role
  • Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions,identifyroot causes, and implementviablelong-term solutions, Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principlesispreferred, but notrequired
  • Command of the English language, both written and verbal with ability to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downs
  • Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic workenvironmentand passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervision
Essential Physical Demands
  • Able to perform assembly work and receive safety signals using sight, touch, andAbility to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs.,climband descenda 10" step,andability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
  • Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch,twistand crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
  • Exposures to hazardous materials used and ability to follow waste handling/disposal procedures
  • Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipmentfor up to 12 hours per day, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, hearing protection,half-face respirators,powered-air purifying respirators (PAPRs),gloves, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
