Clinical Assistant - GI

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is part of Boston Children's Hospital, ranked as one of the top children's hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. • Working in our busy Gastrointestinal and Renal Sub-specialty programs caring for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with illnesses affected the GI or Renal systems.
• Receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments.
• Collecting, verifying and recording required information, obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.
• Assisting clinician during examinations; obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, weights, heights and lengths. Collecting specimens.
• Performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic.
• Position will be Boston based with potential for coverage of our Worcester and Waltham practices. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
• Working 40 hours per week: 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
