Description and Requirements

As the Account Executive, SMB Retail, for Lenovo, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Lenovo's commercial business within our National, Regional, and Local Retail and eTail partners.

Working in parallel with multiple Lenovo teams, you will own and execute account strategies to drive revenue and profit across Lenovo's award-winning portfolio of products, solutions, and services. This role is focused on new business acquisition, pipeline development, and account expansion within strategic retail partners.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quota-carrying sales, strategic selling, acquisition, and account management, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will demonstrate team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently. The candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate, and approachable. A strong working knowledge of the retail ecosystem, distribution, and industry strategies is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Own and achieve revenue and profitability targets by driving Lenovo sales through key Retail partners.
  • Develop and manage executive relationships (C-level) within partner organizations to position Lenovo as a strategic advisor and preferred vendor.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities by aligning Lenovo's products and solutions with partner and customer business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while executing effective territory and account plans.
  • Ensure customers and partners receive the highest level of sales engagement and operational support.
  • Develop and execute complex sales strategies to ensure both long- and short-term revenue goals, objectives, and quotas are met.
  • Align with Retail partners to understand market dynamics and drive joint go-to-market opportunities that accelerate sales growth.
Basic Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of the Small and Medium Business (<1,000 employees) market dynamics.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 5+ years of technology (PC, Workstation, Server, Storage, & Services) sales experience in a quota-carrying role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills required.
  • Superior presentation and customer-facing sales skills.
  • Solid financial acumen and financial management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience working for or calling on reseller partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota with multimillion-dollar quarterly targets.
  • Proven ability to develop strategies and execute against an account plan to drive revenue growth and close business.

This role covers multiple retail partners throughout the United States and will require travel.

The on-target earnings range budgeted for this position is $200,000 - $250,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
