Description and Requirements

The Sales Leader is a core One Lenovo role, responsible for driving endtoend growth, customer outcomes, and strategic engagement across Lenovo's entire portfolio-Client Devices, Infrastructure (Data Center), Software, and Services-within a defined set of customers.

The Client Relationship Leader will be responsible for leading a sales team while developing and executing on the One Lenovo strategy across North America. The ideal candidate comes with agility; direct industry experience with proven success building trusted relationships across all levels, both internally and externally. Under your leadership, you will motivate a Morrisville, NC based team through innovative coaching and development; inspire creative thinking, problem solving and empowering an environment where we believe great ideas and unique perspectives come from anywhere.

Critical focus will be placed on acquisition accounts, managing existing accounts, and growing new lines of business while delivering on aggressive sales objectives selling Lenovo's entire portfolio. This position is critical to our overall coverage and go-to-market strategy and requires strategic deal management and overall BMS to deliver against high-performance business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead, coach and develop a sales team
  • Understand clients' needs and objectives to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals, desired business goals, and meet customer needs
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring a coordinated sales effort
  • Develop impactful relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers
  • Understand and adapt to Lenovo's ongoing product and services developments
  • Effectively and consistently use MS Dynamics and other Digital tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics while delivering Operational Excellence.
  • Leverage AI and digital tools to maximize productivity and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technology sales experience
  • People leadership experience
  • Required 3 days in office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building coverage models and vertical go to market strategies
  • Superior customer engagement skills with a strong focus on new business development
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagement
  • Excellent presentation skills; Deal Management and Negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated territory management success using a portfolio or solutionsbased selling approach
  • Experience providing infrastructure and/or services solutions to customers
  • Strong ability to lead executivelevel conversations and multistakeholder deal strategies
  • Proven track record of pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and revenue growth
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically as required
  • Strong consultative mindset with the ability to connect technology solutions to business outcomes
  • Demonstrates territory strategy, planning, and E2E ownership
