Position Title: Power App Platform Administrator & Developer (SQL Backend) Work Location: Lake County, IL (Hybrid schedule (one week a month in office) Assignment Duration: 9 months (through 2026 with extension likely) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Position Summary: Serve as administrator and developer for our organization's internal Power App platform, which supports our Patient Services staff management automation and operational reporting tools. You will manage, enhance, and support a suite of applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform, with a SQL backend and robust Power BI reporting. Key Responsibilities: * Administer, support, and enhance internal Power Apps used for onboarding, offboarding, personal changes, transfers, rehires, and staff management processes, ensuring information and status are accurate for all personnel. * Develop and maintain workflows within Power Apps and Power Automate for personnel changes, user profile management, equipment tracking, and system access requests. * Build and optimize SQL queries and relational database structures, supporting bulk user uploads, data integrations (Active Directory, Field Glass, Javelin), and reporting requirements. * Design, update, and deploy Power BI dashboards and flexible reporting platforms with rosters, analytics, and distribution lists for team operations. * Capture and document business requirements, enhancement requests, and operational issues by collaborating with business stakeholders. Translate requirements into technical actions and deployment plans. * Execute impact assessments, conduct testing (unit, functional), and participate in release planning and scheduling. * Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system SOPs; educate users and ensure operational readiness for releases. Qualification & Experience: * At least 5 years of experience administering, supporting, and enhancing internal operational tools or platforms, preferably in a regulated or enterprise environment. * Highly skilled in Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, including app building, workflow automation, and reporting. * Expertise in SQL and relational database design and management. * Strong ability to document the output of stakeholder interactions in written and flow diagrams, and perform impact analysis. * Excellent communication skills: able to collaborate effectively, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and present information concisely and accurately. * Experience with Agile project and release methodologies. Preferred: Familiarity with bulk user uploads, Active Directory integration, and operational tooling for workforce management. | |
