Manager, Tooling And Warehouse, MC

We're looking for a full-time, staff Manager, Tooling and Warehouse, MCto join our Day & Zimmermann team. TheManager of Tooling and Warehousing manages / supervises all employees and activities associated with tooling and warehouse support for field sites across the United States associated with prime and secondary business unit (BU) contracts, operates main warehouses and provides light maintenance support to resident operations center, and operates / maintains up to two satellite facilities based on support needs in different regions. Responibilities include: supporting procurement of tools and equipment, managing warehousing and logistics to support BUs, inventory management and control for locations under their direction, maintaining a certified rigging program, support integration of a common procedure and process inventory across BUs and ECM, support contract / site / outage mobilization and demobilization for tooling purposes; and serve as team member supporting activity to create and maintain a common ECM level tooling program and control management system.

• Secure tooling and equipment needs/logistics for outages and shutdowns in support of ECM BU Operations. Manage personnel and activities safely and promote a work environment that strives for zero injuries in keeping with our core value of Safety. Help foster a culture of continuous improvement with processes and employees. 50%
• Maintain inventory management and control, vendor lists and competitive bidding activities, audits, and support building maintenance activities at each office / tooling location. 20%
• Develop process plans and strategy to gain cost efficiencies at tool and warehouse centers, and integrate a cost effective blend of owned versus rented capability 15%
• Serve as team member for ECM tooling and warehouse initiatives and transition to new and upgraded web-based management tools and create / maintain common procedure and process map 15%
• Support establishing and maintaining a certified rigging program for the BU 10%

• Extensive knowledge of ECM/BU fossil and nuclear field operations, outages and shutdowns, and ability to travel.
• Extensive knowledge of tooling, equipment and consummables needed to support ECM/BU and logistics elements needed to support timely plant outage and needs.
• Full understanding of the procurement and supply chain process and procedures, including buying, establishing contracts and subcontracts, inventory control and disposition of end of life tools and equipment.
• Strong communications and negotiations skills and process orientation
• Strong computer based skills relating to web-based tools and software needed to perfrom / monitor department functions.

• Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent relevant experience in related field required
• 5+ years of relevant experience required
• Great attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of background and drugscreening process.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $80,640.00 - $120,960.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
