ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a fast, detail-oriented Video Editor to support daily programming and creator production workflows. You'll be editing soundbites, segments, social media content, and promotional clips in a high-tempo, newsroom-style environment, while collaborating closely with producers across multiple shows. This role requires speed, precision, and a proactive mindset-along with a strong eye for what resonates in digital media.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit pre- and post-production content for daily shows using Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Cut soundbites, segments, and promotional clips in a fast-paced, newsroom-style environment

  • Work with show packages and MOGRT templates for lower thirds and basic graphics

  • Create, format, and reversion content for social platforms (e.g., landscape to vertical)

  • Understand export presets, codecs, and delivery specs for broadcast and digital

  • Download, manage, and upload large media files

  • Collaborate with producers across multiple shows and teams

  • Follow direction closely while also making smart creative decisions

  • Identify compelling moments for clips and social cutdowns with an assistant-producer mindset

  • Meet tight daily deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities

  • Communicate clearly and ask proactive, clarifying questions

  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organized project workflows

  • Work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, or during breaking-news windows

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years of proven experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong understanding of broadcast and digital delivery specs

  • Experience creating vertical video and reels for social media

  • Familiarity with MOGRTs and basic graphics workflows

  • High-speed, reliable internet for uploading and downloading large media files

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized under pressure

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience editing, uploading, and scheduling content for platforms like YouTube, X, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Basic working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or motion graphics

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-100,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
