Telecommunications Technician Work Schedule: Mandatory 56Hour Work Week Job Description TEKsystems is seeking an entrylevel Telecommunications Technician to support installation and cabling projects. This role is handson and focused on lowvoltage and structured cabling work. Candidates must be reliable, detailoriented, and comfortable working extended hours in a fastpaced environment. Responsibilities * Install and route Cat5 and Cat6 cabling * Perform structured cabling and lowvoltage installations * Assist with telecommunications system installs and upgrades * Use hand tools to support cable installation and maintenance * Follow safety guidelines and industry standards at all times * Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate documentation * Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule Required Skills * Cat5 / Cat6 cabling * Cable installation and routing * Lowvoltage experience * Handson experience using hand tools Additional Qualifications * Strong work ethic and reliability * Punctual and dependable attendance * High attention to detail * Ability to follow instructions and comply with safety requirements Experience Level * Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN.
