Designer - Junior

Your Role

We are seeking a creative, selfdriven, and teamfocused Interior Designer to join our growing practice in Raleigh. In this role, you'll help deliver thoughtful, highquality design solutions for a diverse range of interior environments. You will collaborate closely with design leaders, project teams, and external partners to bring ideas to life-ensuring each project is both innovative and technically sound.

What You Will Do

• Contribute to the development of interior design concepts and space planning solutions
• Support preparation of construction documents with a focus on accuracy and clarity
• Participate in project coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies
• Assist with material selection, finishes, pricing options, and product research
• Provide design support through all phases of project development-from schematic design through construction administration
• Help maintain project schedules, deliverables, and documentation with efficiency and attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and consistent design quality.

Your Qualifications

You are

• creative with fresh and innovative design ideas
• self-motivated
• team focused with excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
• able to manage time, tasks, and responsibilities proactively
• proficient with Revit
• preferably also proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop, BlueBeam and SketchUp

You have

• the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited program
• 1-3 years of professional design experience, ideally inclusive of design experience for large-scale commercial projects
• experience within a commercial design firm participating in all phases from schematic through construction administration
• basic understanding of construction drawings, codes, and building processes
• strong rendering skills preferably
• demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices
