Job Summary We are seeking a customerfocused Overnight Medical Scheduler to support patient needs during overnight hours. This role serves as a central point of contact for incoming calls, patient requests, and internal coordination, ensuring timely communication and followthrough in a fastpaced, highcallvolume environment. This is an entrylevel opportunity ideal for candidates with strong phone, call center, or switchboard experience. Prior healthcare experience is not required, though scheduling or medical office experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities * Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner * Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments as needed * Monitor patient rooms and respond to call bells to assess patient needs * Transfer calls to appropriate departments and coordinate emergency overhead paging when required * Follow up on all patient requests and calls to ensure issues are resolved promptly * Accurately document call details and scheduling activity in the system * Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Required Skills & Qualifications * Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills * Strong customer service mindset * Basic to intermediate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems * Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fastpaced, highvolume call environment * Flexibility to work an overnight shift Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randallstown, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
