Job Description TEKsystems is seeking Low Voltage Technicians to support structured cabling projects in healthcare and educational facilities across the Greater Knoxville area. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with a positive, can-do attitude who takes pride in delivering high-quality, professional work in active environments. Technicians will be responsible for installing and terminating CAT6 cabling, building cable pathways, and supporting projects in sensitive, occupied facilities. Travel within the local market is required. All required PPE will be provided. Responsibilities * Pull, route, and terminate CAT6 low-voltage cabling * Perform punch-downs at patch panels, jacks, and faceplates * Build and install cable pathways including J-hooks and cable tray * Rack and stack network equipment as needed * Install and support wireless access points * Troubleshoot basic cabling and connectivity issues * Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites * Follow safety standards and work effectively in active healthcare and educational environments Top Skills Required * Low voltage cable installation * Cable pulling and termination * Structured cabling (CAT6) * Punch-downs * Rack and stack Additional Skills & Qualifications * OSHA 10 Certification (or willingness to obtain) * Lift Certification (or willingness to obtain) * Must have personal snip pouch and/or tool belt * Comfortable traveling throughout the Greater Knoxville area * Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
