Electric Engineering is responsible for PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response. Position Summary The Substation Asset Strategy Internship position is located within the Substation Asset Management (SAM) team. SAM oversees the equipment in our electric substations, examining risks and mitigations to keep our equipment in service. The Substation Asset Strategy Internship position will be at the forefront of a new methodology for calculating the probability and consequence of failure for our substation equipment.The successful candidate is expected to support senior engineering staff on key initiatives including but not limited to:
PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24.52 to $35.37. Responsibilities Supporting senior staff with:
