Primary Purpose of the Organization:

Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Broadwell College of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University invites applications for an openrank, tenuretrack faculty position in professional or supply chain management and technology, beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management, operations management, and quantitative methods; maintain an active and impactful research agenda; and contribute to the University through service to the department, college, profession, and community.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Earned a PhD. or equivalent from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited school in professional/supply chain management or a closely related field before the start date; All but Dissertation (ABDs) will be considered.
  • At least two to three (2-3) years of teaching experience and a capacity and willingness to teach a variety of Supply Chain Management/Management courses.
  • A record of scholarly and professional accomplishments consistent with the appropriate (Assistant/Associate) rank, as evidenced by scholarly works. A candidate with a completed PhD. must have a recent and consistent record of publication in quality-referred journals.
  • A record of relevant non-academic work experience or project-based learning initiatives with local businesses is highly desirable.

Experience in project-based learning will be given special consideration.
