Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to concentrate on our efforts in optimizing operations / processes within our new Charlotte Power Transformer Retrofit and Refurbishment Factory. You will support us in building and digitally transforming the brand-new Transformer Service Factory in Charlotte. This role requires strong knowledge of process documentation, digitalization, and data driven operations to support efficient and scalable workflow improvements. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Champion AI and digital technologies strengthen operational excellence and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality) to understand process requirements and improve opportunities.
  • Support the collection and structuring of data to enable future AI/ML and digital twin initiatives.
  • Support the identification of opportunities for automation, standardization, and the implementation of digital tools.
  • Map, analyze, and improve business processes, identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate across engineering, operations, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Up to 2 years in digital transformation, project management, or operational excellence, ideally within manufacturing, service, or engineering environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Process Analysis (e.g. Visio, Draw.io, etc.) and/or data analysis tools (Alteryx, Power BI).
  • Build and enhance low-code applications using applications like Mendix to replace manual processes, accelerate digitalization, and support scalable, user friendly solutions across the business; not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and innovationdriven, with a passion for harmonizing digital initiatives across hubs and functions.
  • Process improvement mindset: Strong background in process mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
  • Candidate needs to be local to the Charlotte surrounding area to be able to commute.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support. our employees with existing work authorization may be eligible for internal transfer.
