Real Projects, Real Impact: Work on live projects that are critical to the success of our organization, giving you concrete experience and outcomes to be proud of. This position is accountable for assisting with the analysis and management of a portfolio of assigned data projects focused on residential heat pump water heaters and HVAC systems. The successful candidate will assist the team with identifying and evaluating opportunities that align with Duke Energy program guidelines, comparing these with the highest efficiency HVAC and HP Water heater systems sold by manufacturers in relevant Florida markets. These responsibilities will include data collection, statistical analysis, identifying opportunities, report creation, progress tracking and reporting through proactive collaborations with the business/functional organization, working with external sources (such as vendors, consultants) and data scientists in Market Solution Analytics. The Data Analyst Intern will work under the guidance of an experienced Duke Energy Program Manager and be responsible for supporting essential processes, communicate, or report on weekly data analysis findings and regular project updates. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams within the Product and Services non-dispatchable operations gaining a comprehensive view of Energy Efficiency department within the energy sector.
