| Job Summary |
The Front Desk Assistant work as a part of a customer service team within University Housing . This position provides high-quality customer service while supporting daily housing operations. The Front Desk Assistant assists residents in person, by phone, and via email; performs administrative and operational tasks; and helps create a welcoming residential environment.

| Minimum Education and Experience |
High school graduate or equivalent. A minimum of six months of office and/or customer service experience. |
| Preferred Education and Experience |
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Excel |
| Other Qualifications |
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Will greet and provide excellent customer service at a front desk of a University Housing building.
- Provide in-person, phone, and email customer service related to Housing and resident needs.
- Work will include checking in residents, receiving and delivering packages/mail, and assisting with general inquiries of residents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Administrative tasks.
- Conduct building escorts and building inspections.
- Assist with move-in operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
