Position Summary:

In the Sourcing Associate position, you'll excel at managing escalations, supplier cost and contract negotiations, as well as, demonstrate a high level of proficiency in managing supply chains for an assigned group of suppliers and manufacturers. You'll have a demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and take the lead on proactively identifying and implementing process improvements within the department.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Manage Supply Chain for assigned suppliers, including: cost, quality and fulfillment. Develop effective supplier relationships.

  • Negotiate programs for Direct Supply, including costs and incentives.

  • Own escalations and supplier cost and performance negotiations

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvement strategies within the team.

  • Vet and onboard suppliers and ensure successful transition into the Direct Supply portfolio.

  • Maintain supplier database and monitor risk to business continuity with assigned suppliers

  • Leverage Subject Matter Experts in Senior Living and Lines of Business as needed to support day-to-day work

  • Leverage data analytics and reporting sciences to meet Supply Chain objectives.

  • Actively participate as a resource on project teams and/or programs to support business initiatives and objectives.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, or International Business.

  • 1-3 years of sourcing, negotiation and supply management experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to10%

Additional Items of Interest:

  • APICS, CPSM or equivalent a plus
