This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

HowYou'llMake an Impact:

  • Review daily mix schedules and ensure the raw materials required are available

  • Follow mix instructions and accurately add raw materials to the mixes manually, using pumps or mixing systems

  • Mix batches using variable agitation

  • Perform routine observation of the product during the mixing and filling process to ensure batch quality. Report any out-of-spec raw material, premises, or mixed batches and consults with Quality personnel on any batch adjustments.

  • Properly cleans out all mix tanks

  • Operate fork trucks, palletizers, scales, pumps, and other material handling equipment to transport raw material and finished product

  • Perform building and equipment preventative maintenance

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Details:

  • Plant Location: 4400 Alatex RD., Montgomery AL.

  • Work Week & Shift: Rotating Shifts Monday - Friday

  • Compensation package: $23.17 ph with some OT

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 1 year of previous experience working in a chemical and/or manufacturing environments

  • 1 year of experience understanding systems, pumps, read meters, basic Quality Control data, and track mixing and quality information (mix logs, batch adjustments, etc.)

  • 1 year of experience performing basic Quality Control tests (take samples, perform pH tests)

  • Excellent attention to detail; must be able to simultaneously mix several tanks and accurately complete related documents

  • Ability to read and match numbers on shipping records, labels, raw materials, and finished goods

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity

Physical Requirements of Position:

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50lbs

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $23.17 - $34.76. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
