We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our Product Development team. In this role you will collaborate to improve existing products and develop and commercialize new products. This entry-level position requires a solid technical background, a desire to learn, the ability to problem solve and a willingness to think creatively. The role offers many opportunities for growth and development into higher technical or managerial roles.

The Lab Technician job is an exciting chance to join a team that promotes and recognizes innovation. We are seeking motivated individuals who will produce world-class products and add to the skillset of an already successful formulation team.



Responsibilities

    Make paints or colorants and adjust to specifications as per work assignments
  • Execute all required performance testing
  • Document and share observations and learnings
  • Build knowledge of formulation tools and test methods
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Maintain laboratory and equipment
  • Participate in continuous learning and capability building initiatives in product development


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years' experience in laboratory setting
  • Clear and concise record keeping
  • Exhibits and fosters team behavior within and outside the laboratory
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer and standing at a lab bench.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally (e.g. files, paint cans/ supplies boxes of documents).
* Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, handling documents, and working at a lab bench.
* Visual activity required for reviewing documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
* Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and reaching within the lab environment.



Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $25.10 /Hr.
