Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery. Learn About a Day in the Life of a Monitor Technician: Responsible for supporting the mission of the hospital. Monitor Technician under the direction and supervision of the ICU chargenurse. Responsible for monitoring the EKG patterns of patients on telemetry. Responsible for manning the nursing station. Performing clerical/receptionist duties, requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments. Transcribing/entering patient orders. Job Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Must have skills to respond quickly and calmly under stressful or emergency situations. Must possess written skills to write legibly. Good telephone etiquette. Clean, well-kept appearance. Preferred Job Requirements: Telemetry experience. Hospital experience.
