As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Trailblazer in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-visibility tech, media, and telecom retail location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay present on the floor and/or around the property, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will assist customers and staff with professionalism, clear communication, and a service-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including support for emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail technology locations, sales floors, stock areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying access as directed, assisting with visitor direction, and supporting orderly queue and crowd flow during peak business hours and special events.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed and providing clear directions to occupants.
• Document security-related activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, communicating timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
